As an addendum, I cannot help but wonder if someday American engineers who typically speak only English and base their designs only on the heuristics encoded in English, will not find themselves at a serious competitive disadvantage with respect to multilingual engineers who base their designs on a s[tate-of-the-art] containing heuristics encoded in a variety of languages.
